Surrounded by beautiful Kent countryside, Hunton CEP School is situated in the heart of Hunton Village with the river Beult at the end of the lane and Oast houses in the distance.  Hunton CEP Primary School was built on its current site in 1963; it had a further extension in 2003 when a new school hall, teaching room and kitchen were added.  The 60s architecture and the new addition are both light and airy and ample in space, providing a tranquil setting for 21st century education and technology.

We pride ourselves on being a small Christian school at the heart of the local community which gives us immense support.

Our school has a sports field, two playgrounds and an adventure trail. We are an eco-school and have two kitchen gardens which produce copious amounts of fruit and vegetables that we use to support our healthy eating strategies.  During the year we organise picnics, lunches and 'smoothies' with students and parents. We regularly win local produce competitions and visit a number of organic centres where our children develop a growing awareness of sustainability, an important aspect of citizenship in the 21st century.

We run a wide range of extra curricular clubs, including chess, games and recorders, which supports our positive approach to sport and healthy lifestyles

We have a well resourced library area and the latest laptops, interactive whiteboards and ICT equipment which support all children's learning across the curriculum.

We are in the heart of Kent and have access to a range of resources surrounding us including historic houses, museums, rivers, and farms. We believe that learning does not only take place in a classroom and therefore regularly undertake a number of trips or invite visitors to school linked to our children's learning, to ensure that children are inspired and motivated.
